 Sponsorship Opportunities

The prosperity and quality of life that Fairfax County enjoys are due in no small measure to the selfless and courageous acts of our community’s Fire & Rescue, Police and Sheriff personnel. Time and again these real life heroes place themselves in harm’s way to protect our families, our homes and our businesses.

The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce invites you to help honor these community heroes. Your support of these events is critical to ensuring we meet our commitment to our community's public safety and law enforcement heroes.

The Chamber hosts three unforgettable events that will raise money to endow the Valor Scholarship Fund: The Annual Valor Awards Ceremony, the Valor Classic Golf Tournament and the Valor Auction Reception. Your support as a sponsor of these events will associate your company with two high profile opportunities to honor our community’s public safety heroes. To find out more about the 2008 Valor Sponsorship Opportunities please contact Lisa Huffman at lhuffman@fairfaxchamber.org.

A CHARITABLE FUND TO SUPPORT EDUCATION

In 1989, the Chamber established the charitable Valor Scholarship Fund to support the education of the children of our community’s Medal of Valor recipients. Each child of a Medal of Valor honoree is eligible to receive a Valor grant.

During the next five years, with the generous help of Chamber members, the Fund will distribute more than $150,000 in scholarships to help these deserving young people ease the financial burden of a college education. Whether used to offset the rising cost of tuition, or to pay for books and other educational necessities, grants from the Valor Scholarship Fund help ease the financial burden experienced by many students and their families.
